HOW DOES IT WORK?

FIND YOUR INSPIRATION!

Look up designs that you might like! It’s important to save photos so we can reference them during the session.

Your inspiration could include:

- favourite colours

- characters (anime, cartoons, superheroes)

- themes - floral, leaves, winter

- favourite foods (pizza forever!)

- patterns / fabrics

- art (did someone say Van Gogh?)

- songs and lyrics

- and the list goes on!

This is all about expressing YOURself.

Remember that you have to like it!

GET YOUR SHOES!

This you might have to think about, and make sure it’s going to be a style of shoe you like and will wear!

We suggest you bring an all-white leather sneaker with minimal markings, but you can work with canvas or mesh.

With leather, you can *sometimes* erase in certain areas if you make a mistake (read: sometimes, not everything can be fixed).

Canvas, mesh or fabric shoes are more permanent. (ie. cover over a mistake vs erasing it.)

The shoes can be brand new if you’d like or you can go through your closet and see if you have any shoes that you’d like to bring back to life.

If you are bringing a worn or older shoes, we do ask that you pre-clean your shoes prior to coming in. No grass or mud or anything else!

Most designs (from your inspiration photos) can be adjusted to suit any style of shoe. We may need to move a few things around or put few colours in other places.

It happens a lot where the design inspiration we like isn’t necessarily on a style of shoe we like.

Each session costs $95 + taxes per person, which comes to $107.35 all together.

To save your seat, we do collect a $30 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.

This allows each guest full access to everything we have in our studio. The paints, the paint markers, the tools, and all the accessories to finish it off. You can use as much or as a little of everything as you need . With our OPEN STUDIO format you have the ability to work a little longer if you need. (But you’re out when the studio closes!)

Mack Techs will be there throughout your session to show you how to achieve your design. They’ll show you any tips and tricks along the way to make it a little easier. Don’t worry, they’ll give you the whole tour and show you where everything is.

NOTE:

• All of our classes are open to the public for booking, so there will be other guests in attendance.

• You can book your class up until 24hours before the start time.
